The development at Priory Court aims to deliver 83 new homes across 3no. buildings. The new homes offer a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments in three blocks ranging from five to six stories in height. All homes feature private gardens or balconies and access to the landscaped communal areas and play spaces.
The proposed development includes cycle and vehicle parking, refuse and recycling stores, and site wide improvements including a ‘Play Way’ route and the development of a Multi-Use Games Area and play park. A range of environmental improvements are also included as part of the proposed development.
On Architecture has been appointed by Norse Consulting to undertake the architectural services relating to the proposed redevelopment of the site. The initial brief was established by Sixty Bricks and has been developed through continued discussions with the consultant team and local planning authority. The aims are to provide:
• Much-needed housing for the Borough
• Attractive landscaping surrounding and improved connectivity throughout the site
• Buildings of high visual interest and high architectural quality
