Client Telereal Trillium
Ward Ashford Borough Council
This regeneration scheme proposes 6 high quality residential dwellings fronting the historic High Street in Wye, Kent.
The proposal involves the demolition of the Wolfson Lecture Theatre, the change of use and refurbishment of existing terrace buildings and the proposal of 3 new build dwellings on the historic High Street in Wye, Kent. The existing high street buildings (one of which is listed) are to be converted into 3 residential dwellings, with a proposed dwelling sitting at the end of terrace, and the 2 additional semi-detached cottages at the rear with associated parking. The architecture visible from the street reflects the traditional vernacular of Wye, with a Georgian fenestration and traditional detailing, whereas the buildings to the rear are of a traditional arts and crafts style.
