This masterplan supported an outline permission for 1,100 dwellings, followed by a programme of reserved matters applications for the housing, village centre and an extra care facility.
Responding to the brief, the design achieves a layout of varying densities using a family housing mix orientated around an existing Ancient Woodland, a new central linear greenway, and a strong landscape led infrastructure network.
The project includes provision of revised masterplanning for the wider site to consider enhancement of the existing outline consent.
