This student accommodation scheme sits in the heart of the Kent University Campus in Canterbury, Kent.
The brief involved maximising the site whilst overcoming the difficult planning constraints, such as overlooking and daylight/sunlight. This resulted in an intelligent layout utilising the rear of the site for circulation, and the front and side for windows into the student rooms and social spaces.
The architecture was carefully considered to sit comfortably along the street scene, whilst creating an attractive building of its era, supplying the ever-growing student population with high quality accommodation.
