Conversion of an Edwardian Villa into a stylish Conference, Education and Training Facility.

Having assisted with the purchase of the property On Architecture were appointed by The Pilgrims Hospice to secure planning and undertake the interior design for the conversion of Oldroyd House, an Edwardian Villa located in a Conservation Area previously used as a residential care home.

The wonderfully high ceilings and rooms restored to their original proportions offered an excellent opportunity to specify dark floors contrasting with white walls and ceilings. These elements combined with a ‘Feature’ colour wall created a bright and dynamic environment, perfect to keep delegates engaged. The main reception / refreshment area was designed to present a corporate image for the training facility, using feature colours which reflect the Pilgrims Hospice logo. A contemporary tea point design and beautiful architectural lighting complete the corporate vision.
